We Get Excited About...Fruit

Yep. You read that right. We get excited about fresh fruit and veggies.


I guess that's what happens when you move from the West, where huge Costco's and expansive grocery stores are plentiful, with just about everything you need all in one stop. We're still getting accustomed to the local's favorite corner markets if you can't tell. In fact, you'd think living in the same building as a "grocery store" would be super convenient. Well it is, if you like small aisles and a poor selection in produce.

You might remember me complaining about it previously in this post, where you'll also remember how excited we were to stumble upon a gem of a store. Thank you Fairway for redeeming our point of view on NYC grocery stores.

Funny thing is, it still gets us every time. When we do wander a little further from home to stop by Fairway, we STILL get excited. Sometimes too excited. And when that happens, we may or may not fill our cart a little too full to be able to carry it home. Taxi!
