Proud Maxxinista

I love T.J.Maxx. I consider myself a proud Maxxinista.

Sure, sometimes you go and feel like you hit the jackpot. Other times, you come out with nothing in hand. Regardless of whether I'm empty-handed or not, I love to wander around any T.J.Maxx or Home Goods. I love that I never know what to expect, and that when I do find something it's usually at a great price. (An aspect that makes the husband happy too!)

Top: My new favorite street for when I'm alone and feel like wandering around. Left:A cute wire bowl and decorative balls that fit perfectly on my new entertainment center. Right: The most adorable drying mat ever, also from T.J.Maxx.

I have already tried out a couple locations in the city. My go-to place so far is across Central Park in the Upper West Side. It's a fairly calm street with a T.J.Maxx, Michaels Craft Store and Home Goods across the street. (Three awesome stops in one place!) This weekend hubby announced that he couldn't go out and have fun because of the need to study like crazy for a huge, important work test he has on Monday. While that news was a major bummer for me, I decided to get out of our quaint studio and meander over to this lovely spot. Sure enough, it cheered me up.

Top Left: A unique candle holder still in need of a candle. Middle: Another unique metal holder with a flameless candle inside. Right: On the escalator down to the store! Bottom: Matching frame to go next to my candle holder. (I made the framed picture myself, otherwise everything else are my "Maxxinista finds".)
