My Birthday Boy
Last Wednesday we celebrated Mr. Stone's 24th Birthday. What a handsome man I have to call my own!
Tyson and Kayla made him a delicious mixed berry pie, also in honor of Pie Day, which I enjoyed very much as well.
This year I was so proud of myself, because I was actually able to surprise him with a gift. He can be a little tricky to surprise because he hardly ever wants anything for himself. When he does want something, he usually likes to pick it out himself, such as these new golf shoes seen below that we also ordered in honor of his birthday.
This year however, the birthday fairy was on my side because I found him THE PERFECT WATCH (okay maybe two watches due to my indecisiveness)!

He had mentioned a couple weeks ago how he wanted a slick looking watch with a leather band, as he was a little tired of his metal watch. Thanks to a little stressing and a lot of looking, I came across the perfect match. Better yet, it was at Nordstrom Rack so it never hurts to get a sweet watch at a discount. (Another reason why I was a little out-of-control and got two, because I figured it was too good of a deal to pass up!)
Needless to say he was pretty stoked and even said something along the lines of, "Wow babe! This watch is so perfect that I didn't even know I was looking for it."
It was a proud moment for me.
He made me stop and pose so he could take a picture of me in my new colored skinnies. Those bright pants are something new for me, but apparently this has already been the fad for awhile and I'm just getting used to the idea.
Happy Birthday Hubby! Another year older and wiser too!
Looks like TJ had a fantastic birthday! Good job on the watches. :) Also, I love the colored skinny jeans. I just bought a pair of bright yellow ones. I want to get another color soon too.

ReplyDeleteI miss you two! I just got a pair of colored skinnys too. I'm even more behind on the fashion trends than you Vanessa. But I got the same color as yours. Like a redish orange color. I love them!
